I am a qualified Yoga Teacher. I trained with the Victor Foundation in Kent, and have been teaching since November 2005. I am a member of the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY), and attend many of their excellent IST / general Yoga days. Yoga Alliance UK recognises that I have undergone at least 500 hours' hands-on teacher training. Although no longer a member of YAUK, I would qualify for their 'Senior Yoga Teacher' status.
I draw on a range of styles, and incorporate things I have learnt from various teachers of different Yoga traditions, including BWY, Satyananda (Bihar) and Iyengar style (alignment).
I respect the practice of yoga, although there is room for fun!

Testimonials
"The best yoga class I've ever been to!"
"I've really appreciated all your efforts with zoom. Apart from the yoga, which is always great, it has been good to have a focus in the week when everything else has been turned upside down."
"I am very happy with the classes! The word that always comes to mind when I think of your teaching Sue, is mindful . This includes the care you take with your preparation, the steady pace of the class, the theme of each session. But importantly, you constantly refer us back to ourselves, for us to be mindful of how our bodies are responding on any one day, or indeed, within any one posture and to be aware of our breathing – nobody else's! I think that is the lesson I take away with me and have come to value enormously."
"The instructor has an attractive gentle voice and a soothing presence."
"You are very aware of how we’re following instructions, so there’s immediate help and correction if necessary... I do find it really helps me to feel physically better and at times, when I’m battling with other issues, it is a real solution to feeling better."
"I just wanted to say thank you for giving me the advice for avoiding further trouble with my knees. You're brilliant at adapting things quickly and effectively."
"I think the classes are brilliant. The atmosphere is a good balance between serious application and relaxed fun. I think your ability to monitor individuals in the class is very good and important."
"I really enjoy the relaxation as this is a challenge for me and I feel I am learning to let go."
"I feel like I'm somewhere else, just for an hour."
"I do not have a least favourite bit. I enjoy the whole of each class. The variety is great, never boring, the hour goes very quickly... I am more flexible, my back aches less and I feel less stressed after the class and I try to put into practice the things I have learnt when I am in a stressful situation."
"I often think I won’t be able to do a movement, but because there has been proper preparation, I surprise myself when I can... When I do yoga regularly, I do not experience so much pain (I have arthritis). My flexibility definitely is better, and I feel less stress, and more confidence in my movement."
"It's the highlight of my week!"
